A traditional bread oven and small barn, beautifully converted into a welcoming gite, with many quaint features.
We are situated on the edge of a typical French village, Badecon-Le-Pin, surrounded by of miles of open country side and farm land, on the edge of the Brenne Natural Park, the river Creuse and the Lake at Eguzon with its beach and leisure Activities. The village has bars, a restaurant, a baker, butcher, hairdresser, post office and general store. The medieval riverside towns Argenton -Sur-Creuse and Gargilesse are close by.
The gite shares a secluded walled garden, where you can make the most of the French sun, and use the above ground pool.
English TV, is included. We can also offer free access to a 8 meg internet connection for your laptop, or hire our computer for 30€ per week.
We can provide a travel cot but ask that you provide the bedding.

It offers a spacious double bedroom, a lounge, modern bathroom with a good sized kitchen and dinning area. It sleeps 2 people comfortably, but can sleep 4 people if you choose to utilise the bed settee in the lounge area.

Badecon is located 8km from Argenton-Sur-Creuse, which is located just of the A20, between Poitiers and Limoges.
Please see our website and use the directions to find your preferred route to Argenton.
From Argenton, take the D48, (Southeast Direction) and follow the signs for Badecon-Le-Pin. When you get to Badecon, turn left at the crossroads, just in front of the church. Take your next right (approx 200 metres), turning just before the barn. At the next T junction turn right, you are now on Rue De L’Enfer (our road). Travel up this road, then after the second turning on the right, turn right down the first driveway on the right. If you see a pair of white gates and number 21 on the post-box, you have arrived. If not, go back to the church and try again, its quite simple really. Also use the map below to assist.
