Set on the edge of a national forest in a magnificent position, this beautiful villa offers a tranquil haven from the pressures and hustle of everyday life.

"La Primelle" comprises two self-contained wings and is usually rented as a whole, with exclusive use of the pool and garden areas.

The two wings form an L at one corner of a mediterranean style courtyard-garden planted with olive trees, rosemary and lavender.

A free-form tiled 11x4m pool with large sun terrace borders the south side.

Shaded woodland terraces above and below the property lead to forest tracks providing walking and mountain biking routes and extensive views.

There is also a childrens play area and boules pitch under the trees.

This is a unique and special environment .

With its traditional and modern wings, this property is ideal for one or two families sharing.

Four spacious ground floor bedrooms (one with en-suite shower & wc) overlook the courtyard garden and pool. There is an additional family bathroom at this level and a third separate toilet.

From the entrance hall, an oak staircase leads to the first floor, open- plan living area. This is a beautiful space with high ceilings and exposed beams.Wide picture windows and views on all sides give the impression of living in a luxurious tree house.

There is a fully equiped oak kitchen at one end with granite and oak surfaces.

There is a stylish dining area and a lounge furnished with bookshelves, leather sofa, arm chairs and coffee table.

There is also a wood-burning stove for autumn/winter lets.

La Primelle enjoys a unique and private location. It is approached by a part tarmac part gravel road.

The A75 is only a 10 min. drive (and yet a world away). Many historic towns and famous bridges of Southern France are within a half or full days visit.

The beaches and fishing ports of the Mediterranean are an easy 50 min. drive.

Closer at hand is the local town of Lodeve, with its bustling markets, art gallery and museum (15 min)

Closer still the medieval village of Soubes offers a vibrant cafe bar, post office and grocery store.(10min)

A car is essential.
