Villa Alliston is a beautiful house in Villasavary a typical french village situated in the Languedoc area near the magnificent walled cite of Carcassonne in the South of France, with Castelnaudary, Fanjeaux, Bram also close. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and an extra single pull out if needed. [ sleeps 3 ] 3rd sleeping area containing a single bed on the large upstairs landing that can be screened off with drapes for privacy. All bedding is supplied and included in the price. Bathroom - Bath, WC, basin and fully tiled shower cubicle. The kitchen - This is the same size as the living room and has all cooking utensils. Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave. The dining table seats 6 easily and there is also a three piece cottage suite to relax in after dinner. There is a 1960s pinball machine in the kitchen and numerous boxed games. Private Garden - The kitchen opens out onto the tiled terrace and long garden. There are sunbeds for your use, tables, chairs, BBQ and plunge pool for cooling down. Enjoy breakfast or lunch in the sun on the terrace, or barbecue your evening meal outside. A great place to just relax with a book in one hand and a glass in the other! A rural village with wonderful walks and cycling. 10 minutes by car to Bram where you can hire a bike and cycle along the tow paths of the canal du midi. Bram also has a market on Wednesday mornings. There is also a market in Castelnaudary (15 minutes) on a Monday morning. The village has a small shop where you can buy fruit, veg, grocery, sweets, etc. We also have a butchers, bakers, post office, pharmacie, bar/restaurant, local medical centre.
